Pre-surgery experience (Ongoing)
Understanding of the pre-surgery experience of patients and identifying ethical gaps in tier-1 cities of India
The period between a surgical diagnosis and entering the operating theatre is one of the most significant phases in a patient's healthcare journey. During this time, patients and their families navigate uncertainty, complex medical information, emotional distress, logistical preparation, financial considerations, and other critical healthcare decisions.
This project seeks to understand this period as a human experience from psychological, social, ethical, and systemic lens and identify improvement opportunities for the healthcare sector.
